A beautiful example of a celebrated English Maker. Founded in 1987 by Roger Hansell, Hansell Violins has built a reputation for crafting exceptional instruments. In 1993, the workshop moved to its present home in Leyburn, set amid the North Yorkshire Dales. There, the team creates violins, violas, and cellos, and also produces finely made instrument fittings, each finished by hand with distinctive care.
The tone of this violin is exceptionally powerful and well-rounded, offering remarkable depth and a wide range of tonal colours.
This instrument is available for trial in our shop and can also be taken away on approval, allowing you to experience its full potential in your own environment.
