A founder member of the renowned Violin Makers Scotland group, Graham Wright is a well established and respected maker.
"I learned my trade at the Welsh School of Violin Making, returning to Scotland in 1980 when the time came to set up my own workshop. Although my main productions are violins and violas based on classical Italian models, over the years I have made a variety of stringed instruments-viols, violas d'Amore and more recently five-stringed violins. I enjoy trying unusual things and occasionally pushing the boundaries a bit." GW
Now living in the West of Ireland, Graham still maintains his association with the Violin Makers scotland group.
Grahaam Wright makes instruments with both "distressed" and "straight" finishes but all possess a warm even tone across the strings.
