The Con Amore is an excellent cello for players who upgrade from their beginners' cello with the idea of taking the middle grades and looking towards the upper ones, without spending too much money. Providing a solid, warm and enticing sound, it supports the players at a time when they have to show more proficiency in sound rendition and musical expression. This solid hand-carved cello is made of very flamed wood with a lovely warm reddy-brown varnish, and a warm, beautiful round sound that gave it its name, “Con Amore” meaning “with love” in Italian.
