Marion Bennardo

"After a solid artistic training back in France, Marion went over to the world famous Newark school of making for her lutherie training. She was there introduced to the Cremonese Masters’work as well as contemporary ideas and she also studied baroque making.

From her workshop near the lovely Scottish village of Drymen, she makes instruments and mainly cellos of the highest quality which have reached their place in the prestigious orchestras of Scotland.

Marion in particular prefers not to make exact copies as she likes to incorporate her own style into the instrument as much as possible, therefore can undertake modern and baroque instruments, with decorations and carvings on demand"
