Aurelie Georges

Aurelie George's passion for bow making stems from playing the cello as a young girl.  After having the opportunity to work in a Baroque workshop, Aurelie decided to pursue an education at the Newark School of Violin Making.

After graduating, Aurelie received a work experience placement at Nelly Poidevin's workshop, where she first ventured into Baroque bow making, and began researching the characteristics of bows from different periods, and how to best reconstruct them.  Aurelie continues to be inspired by the array of bow styles exhibited at museums, and crafts Modern, Classical & Baroque bows.
